Kioki, 32nd
Role:
Concept Development, Interior Styling and Collateral Design
Kioki draws inspiration from Japanese fishermen and their enduring relationship with the sea. The space celebrates resilience, craftsmanship, and materials shaped by time — from reclaimed wood and aged metal to the charred warmth of Shou Sugi Ban. At its heart lies the Robata counter, echoing the spirit of shared meals aboard fishing boats. Styled with organic textures and vintage details, Kioki embodies the quiet beauty of imperfection and the strength found in simplicity.

From hand-finished crockery to custom collaterals like menus, bill holders, and signage, I worked on crafting the finer details that tie the narrative of Kioki together. Every piece was designed to feel grounded, textured, and in rhythm with the space.
