Kioki
Hospitality and F&B
Role:
Concept Development, Interior Styling, Collateral Design
Drawing inspiration from Japanese fishermen and their enduring relationship with the sea, the spatial strategy for Kioki celebrated resilience and materials shaped over time. The design direction curated a tactile palette that transitioned from reclaimed wood and aged metal to the charred warmth of Shou Sugi Ban. It anchors the layout around a Robata counter that echoes with the spirit of shared meals. Through rigorous interior styling, the project layered organic textures and vintage details to embody the quiet beauty of imperfection. This ensured a cohesive dialogue between the architectural concept and the intimate guest experience.

The scope extended to the finer details of the table and brand experience, encompassing CCG (Crockery, Cutlery, Glassware) procurement and the design of custom restaurant collateral. By sourcing vendors for bespoke products and coordinating the development of custom art, the narrative was maintained across every physical touchpoint.
